This is our first vintage working with Arvine, a variety that is native to the Swiss and Italian Alps and is a rarity outside of Europe.   The Arvine vines from Alder Springs Vineyard even grown on steep terraces, much like in the Alps.  The wine is a golden color with aromas of jasmine, grapefruit and apple, while on the palate, there is a lingering salty minerality.
